Happy 2007!
One question - what happened to 2006? I guess it's true what they say, "time flies when you are having fun" and as you know we are always having fun at Starner's Dam! We had a blast over the holidays with family and friends. Thanksgiving was hosted at Starner's Dam this year. It was nice being with family and enjoying good food. Christmas came quickly. We did some cookie baking this year which for the most part went smoothly. The Saturday before Christmas we had a party for family and friends in our new outbuilding/pool hall/rock-n-roll venue. Our new hang-out area has been named the "River Dogz Saloon" in honor of our river and our pups, Koko and Marley. We even had a sign created for the event. Hopefully a picture will be up soon on the website. Christmas was extra-special this year as Heidi, Rob, Christopher and Meghan visited from Ft. Benning, Georgia. It just all went by too fast. So far we are having mild winter this year (which is just fine) so no snow yet. Still have some time to go before spring. Our best to eveyone. We wish for you in 2007 that you will be safe, enjoy life and remember, at Starner's Dam, "it ain't fishing, it's cathing!"
